Another minimalist collection by the Swiss luxury clothing company Akris; its spring/Summer 2011 ready to wear collection reflects the designer Albert Kriemler passion for simple elegancy.
The collection begins with a beautiful white short dress in a diagonal cut over knees. Beside white, there was a lot of nice colors like green, blue, camel, orange and flowers; which is unusual for Akris. We can notice that the orange will be very trendy this summer, as it was seen many times in fashion shows.
Short dresses look very subtle with simple cuts; made of cotton or silk, sleeveless or half sleeves, tied or large; they are all stylish and good looking. Every dressed is distinguished by a feature such as long zipper or big pockets.
The long floral dress attracts by its feminine design and bright colors which match perfectly with spring and summer seasons. For the working women, I like this kaki set composed of trouser, top and vest; it looks very chic and up-to-date, it also seems comfortable .
Jackets with very high collars in bold colors are very original. Casual suits are also there; the royal blue one looks attractive and trendy. A lot of materials were used in this collection whether soft like silk and chiffon, comfortable like cotton, feminine like organza and contemporary like leather .
